I was seen by [name removed] who was polite and professional at all times. He explained clearly and acknowledged as a hcp I already had some knowledge. He personalised my treatment taking into account the pressure of my work life.

I had to wait 25 weeks to be seen which was disappointing. I had my first consultation as a video call which I was told had to take place due to Covid restrictions, despite my knowing I would need a face to face to plan treatment. As an employee of NHFT I have been carrying out face to face initial assessments throughout the pandemic. I believe this was to stop the RTT clock and not to protect me or staff. I felt I was being misled by staff and treatment delayed by this initial step.

Very comprehensive treatment which has made a huge difference and aided my recovery. I cannot think of any way it could be improved.

Consideration given to me as an individual, we discussed how I was going to progress.

Receive the walking stick back at the unit where it was given, equipment is expensive and should be recycled. The number on the stick did not recognise me when I phoned it.

The delay of two weeks before speaking to anyone is the biggest down side as the system is overwhelmed .The advice was valuable if a little late in arriving.

An x-ray may have shown more detail but as most of healing process is achieved now it may be of little advantage . It would show up for certain problem areas, past and present , though the out come may be no different. The diagnosis would not rely on guess work.

Finally get to see a physio, a good one at that! It’s great to see some improvement and less pain from an incident that occurred December 2020.

My whole experience was very positive and I think I was looked after and respected on a personal level. My care and physio plan was easy to follow and I felt supported throughout. Overall my physio experience has been the most positive of all sorts of my treatment.

Felt I was listened too and have a plan of how to go forward. After waiting 2 years to see someone in person it was a very pleasant experience.

I was told and sent booking details for 13.30 but told on their system it was 13.45. But that was the only issue.
